About Tony

Hi! Thanks for visiting!

So let me tell you a little about myself.

I’m from Chicago and spent most of my life there. I still own a condo in a near-west suburb and my family is still there.

And I miss Chicago, except in December, January, and February. I live in the Atlanta area now. I love the winters here. If you get an ice storm, they just turn the sun on. In a day or so, it’s over.

Not like Chicago!

So here’s a few quick facts.

I went to Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. I got a B.S. in Biology. I used it for about 3 months and then never again.

However, I can watch Nova or the Science Channel and understand more than people who didn’t go the trouble of getting a degree for no other purpose.

I was accepted for a Ph.D. in biophysics from University of Chicago and quit after 3 months. I walked out of the Cummings Life Science Center and felt like someone lifted a weight off my shoulders. I knew I did the right thing and have never regretted quitting for one moment.

I used to be a minister. I did Sunday lessons for 13 years in Unity Churches. I had a 3-4 year stretch in which I did Sunday services for a church that met in a funeral home in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

I loved that little church. It was the church to die for! I have so many pleasant memories of Crystal Lake that it remains my favorite community even though I never lived there.

I enjoyed that time in my life very much. However, I knew it would never last because I could not imagine answering to a board of directors (or, for that matter, anyone else) for life.

Since those years, I’ve been active in real estate investing and internet marketing. And I conceived the idea for this specialty about empowering the mind for success and money after acquiring a house in Lilburn, Georgia for $10 that turned out to be, shall we say, an adventure!

And, not surprisingly, I’ve been a life-long student of the mind. So any field that relates to self-improvement or personal development holds a special fascination for me.

I like to know what makes people tick. I like to know what happens on the inside that causes all we see on the outside.

And I am endlessly interested in why people:

  • Are who they are.
  • Do what they do.

Well, enough for now. If you want to know more about me, visit my personal blog.

Although it might be more information than you wanted to know, you will get a clearer picture of who I am and what makes me who I am.

I hope I can get to know you as well.
